  • "We were delighted to be able to use Crail Hall for our wedding it is a stunning venue and a hidden gem. The main hall has some incredible features and we were also able to decorate how we wanted which was a bonus. The Crail community team were faultless, the communication and help in the run up and on the day of the wedding was great. We would definitely recommend hosting your wedding/event here and we wish we could do it all over again. Thank you so much for making our day so wonderful."

  • "We’d just like to say that we had an absolutely wonderful wedding at Crail Community Hall. Everyone we were in contact with were extremely helpful and friendly. It's such a little gem of a venue - a beautiful building which gives you the freedom to really create your own personal day. It's also very well known with local suppliers, so bringing them in was also seamless as they know the venue well. We would absolutely recommend. Thanks so much CCH!!"

The community team were extremely helpful and quick to respond to any queries we had. The hall itself fit 100 guests comfortably and was extremely well equipped. We would highly recommend this beautiful space for all sorts of events."

  • "We had a wonderful wedding at Crail Community Hall. The venue and its surroundings are beautiful and it was great to be able to add our own decorations and chosen furniture in order to make the space our own. There is ample space inside the venue including a main hall, small hall and a very generous modern kitchen. The stage in the main hall provided the perfect space for a Ceilidh Band. The CCH team were fantastic at keeping in touch and were always very helpful at answering any queries, even accommodating our request for table tennis tables in the small hall. It was great to be able to hire the venue for three days, as this allowed ample time for set up and take down. We would highly recommend Crail Community Hall as a wedding or events venue"

  • "Crail Community Hall was the perfect venue for our DIY wedding. We had loads of freedom to decorate and use the hall as we wished. The hall itself is very pretty, and it is perfectly located with two parks immediately outside and beautiful Crail very close by. The excellent kitchen also meant that we were able to have a fully catered wedding which went off without a hitch. The community hall team were brilliant to work with, and all in all we had an unforgettable day with rave reviews from our guests. We would absolutely recommend the hall to anyone thinking of holding a wedding or event in future!"

We decorated the hall exactly like we wanted and the floor was perfect for a ceilidh at the end of the night. The hall with its beautiful architecture lends itself to making a unique background to the event . We had a fantastic day with the ceremony and meal in the big Hall and evening buffet, photo booth and sweet trolly in the smaller hall. Our caterer praised the kitchen facilities, modern and spacious. My wife and I would highly recommend this venue, very flexible hall."

  • "We loved having our wedding at the Crail Community Hall. The walk from the church to the hall was incredibly special. As we were on a tight budget, it was an affordable space to hire. Crail Community Hall is a beautiful bargain, a hidden gem - and you can make it your own, especially if you want a laidback, informal feel to your wedding. It’s near the sea, but also has a garden out front - so location-wise, it’s excellent for photographs. But what makes this venue an absolute gem - is the people who run it, and particularly how well they communicated with us throughout. Geraldine was excellent, answering my many, many questions. I cannot recommend the venue highly enough.”

  • "It was a genuine pleasure to work with a small charity to put a beautiful local building to good use. We laid out the main hall for the ceremony with the curtains open and light pouring through the beautiful windows. After confetti photos at the main entrance, the guests were sent to the second hall, where the bar was set-up for canapes, allowing us to lay out the main hall for dinner. After dinner, the guests returned to the second hall (or strolled around the park and community gardens right next to the hall!) while the tables were put to the side for the dancing. We pulled the curtains and lit the dancefloor with just a fairy-light canopy, which was magical. The main hall has so much space for proper dancing and an energetic ceilidh, with two great alcoves on either side where we put tables for people to sit and recover on original pew seating.”

  • "We cannot recommend Crail Community Hall enough for any event you may be thinking of. We got married here in August 2023 and had the most incredible day. The CCH team is kind, supportive, communicative, professional, and everything else you could want when arranging a venue for your big day. Geraldine, Dennis and Jem were always available to help with our questions, visits, and handover before and after the event. The building itself has plenty of space for all your needs - we managed a wedding of 90 people, with a bar, buffet, hog roast, ice cream cart, sweetie stand, photo booth, and more with space to spare."

    — Deanne & Daniel

  • "We had our wedding at Crail Community Hall in August. Living in Crail it was important and special to us that we got married in our local venue. The hall was everything we wanted and more! Beautiful authentic space with lots of room for eating & dancing! The dance floor is also sprung! The kitchen is brilliantly equipped for caterers with easy access. Crail is so lucky to have the community hall for events. If you're looking to embrace a village hall feel for your wedding day this venue is definitely for you! We were able to make the hall completely our own. The coordination process in the run up to the day was so smooth & easy. Any questions we needed were answered really quickly by Geraldine. Thank you for making our day so special!"
